Shelters and Rescues are over capacity - the best option for your pet is to stay with you. There are some fantastic options including doggy day care, hiring a dog walker, asking the neighborhood kids to come play with your pup! The shelter is a terrifying place and chances of your dog getting adopted quickly right now is slim.
Please ask your neighbors for help or reach out to rescues outside of California. If you have a breed specific dog please reach out to a rescue for that breed.
