Fostering dogs is an incredibly rewarding experience, but it's essential to recognize that not all dogs come with fluffy coats or perfect manners. Many of the dogs who come into our care have been surrendered by the people they loved most, ending up in shelters desperately seeking a second chance.

As a foster-based rescue, we rely on compassionate individuals who are willing to open their hearts and homes to dogs of all breeds and backgrounds. We understand that certain breeds may come with stereotypes or biases, but we believe that every dog deserves a chance to thrive in a loving environment.

Our team works diligently to match fosters with dogs that suit their home environment and lifestyle. However, we urge our fosters to be open-minded and willing to work through any biases they may have towards certain breeds. Every dog has its own unique personality and potential, and by giving them a chance, we can help them find their forever homes.

If you're considering fostering with the intent to adopt, we welcome your application. However, it's important to note that we don't place highly adoptable puppies or dogs into Foster to Adopt homes. These dogs typically find homes quickly, while others may linger in foster care longer than they should.

By opening your heart and home to a foster dog, you're not only providing them with temporary shelter and love but also helping to change their lives forever.

There are numerous ways you can extend a helping hand and truly make a difference in the lives of our beloved furry friends. Event Volunteer: Join us at our adoption and fundraising events as a volunteer! As an event volunteer, you'll have the opportunity to spend time with our adoptable pups and fosters, helping to answer questions about our organization and the dogs available for adoption.

Transporter: Help ensure our foster dogs make it to their vet appointments and events by volunteering as a transporter. While it may not seem as glamorous as other roles, transporting dogs allows for valuable one-on-one time with them and the chance to build personal connections.

Fundraising Supporter: Help us raise vital funds to support our rescue efforts by getting involved in our fundraising initiatives! Whether it's organizing a virtual fundraiser, participating in a charity event, or spreading the word about our fundraising campaigns, your support makes a significant difference.
